Spring is the perfect time to aerate your lawn. Aerating a lawn means supplying the soil with air, by poking holes in the ground throughout the lawn by using an aerator. Aeration promotes a healthier root system. The openings in the soil allow air, water and fertilizer to penetrate the root area.
